General Classification of Galvanized Sheet
Galvanized steel refers to a steel plate whose surface is plated with zinc. Galvanizing can effectively prevent corrosion, and the cost is relatively cheap, so about half of the world’s zinc output is used for the production of galvanizing processes. Classification of the galvalumed steel sheet made in China according to the processing method:
Galvanized sheet, cold-rolled sheet
The first type: hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. At present, it is mainly produced by the continuous galvanizing process, and the rolled steel sheet is continuously immersed in a zinc plating bath with the molten zinc to make a galvanized sheet.
The second type: electro-galvanized sheet. The electrogalvanized sheet is manufactured by electroplating and has good processing performance, but the corrosion resistance is not particularly good.
The third type: single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized sheet produced by galvanized corrugated steel sheet manufacturers. A single-sided galvanized sheet is a galvanized sheet with only one side galvanized. The single-sided galvanized sheet is superior to the double-sided galvanized sheet in terms of welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, and processing.
At present, domestic manufacturers of the galvanized sheets are mainly distributed in Wuhan, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin. Especially, the quality of the galvanized sheet is relatively good. Galvanized sheet is widely used in the production of industrial and civil building roofing panels, roof grilles, appliance housings, Corrosion-resistant parts for automobiles, freeze processing tools, etc. When choosing a galvanized sheet, you should check the appearance of the galvanized sheet to see if there are defects such as plating, holes, cracks, and scum, over plating thickness, abrasion, chromic acid dirt, white rust, etc.
